Anthony Cassidy did post-graduate studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome, and subsequently taught at the Franciscan Study Centre, Canterbury.


Seán Deegan is a member of the Missionary Society of St Patrick (Kiltegan). He did post-graduate studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome, and is currently teaching in Sao Paolo, Brazil.


Christopher Hogg is an Irish Redemptorist priest. He studied liturgy at the Institute Catholique, Paris. He is now teaching liturgy at the Institute of Pastoral Theology, Fortaleza.


Seán P. Kealy is a member of the Irish Province of the Holy Ghost Missionaries. He teaches Scripture at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. He is the author of a two volume study on Luke’s Gospel and the History of Biblical Interpretation (New York: Mellen Biblical Press, 2005).


Jonathan Kearney holds a doctorate in Semitic languages from University College, Dublin for a dissertation on Rashi – Linguist despite Himself: A Study of the Linguistic Dimension of Rabbi Solomon Yishaqi’s Commentary on Deuteronomy (forthcoming, London: T & T Clark ).  In addition to biblical languages, he teaches courses in Judaism and Islam at St Patrick’s College, Maynooth.


Thomas McCarthy, O.P., is editor of Religious Life Review.


Brendan McConvery, C.Ss.R., teaches at St Patrick’s College Maynooth and has recently published How to Read the Bible: A Manual for Beginners and The Year of God’s Favour: Getting More out of Sunday Mass in the Year of Luke (Dublin: Redemptorist Publications 2009).


Brendan Mulhall is a member of the Redemptorist Community, Clonard Monastery, Belfast, from where he gives retreats and parish missions.


Michael Mullins, after a long academic career, is now parish priest of Holy Trinity Without, Ballybricken, Waterford. He has recently completed his series of commentaries on the Gospels with The Gospel of St Luke (Dublin: Columba Press, 2010).
