Reflections on the Life of the Venerable Maria Celeste Crostarosa O.Ss.R.
The First Redemptoristine
By Honor McCabe O.P.
The first community of Redemtoristine nuns arrived in Dublin in 1859.
This book is a brief account of the life and spirituality of the foundress of the Redemptoristine Order - the Venerable Maria Celeste Crostarosa, an eighteenth century Italian mystic - who is still little known outside the Order she inspired.
The author hopes that those who read the, at times, tragic events in the life of this mystic, and learn something of her spiritual doctrine, will be helped and inspired in their own prayer life.
