These are all the work of Flor McCarthy, a Salesian priest whose first ministry was as a catechist and who now serves as a preacher, teacher and writer, in Ireland and the USA.
Liturgies for Weekdays: Advent also provides reflections and prayers for each saint whose commemoration occurs during Advent. These were written by Vincent Ryan O.S.B. (died in 2005), a monk of Glenstal Abbey, who studied liturgy at Trier and who taught for many years at the Irish Institute of Pastoral Liturgy.
