Sing a New Song was Timothy Radcliffe’s first book and not surprisingly sold out a number of times.
In this collection we taste the easy eloquence of a great writer and teacher. Radcliffe can mix an image of Jurassic Park with the symbolism of the Last Supper; he succeeds in outlining how human communities may be rebuilt on the foundation of truth, despite inevitable conflicts. A balance between freedom and responsibility is achieved in the realistic honesty in the heart if one who has known the tension of decision making. These pages outline an exciting project for all who seek spiritual wellbeing, at individual and community levels.
Born in 1945, Timothy Radcliffe entered the Dominican Order in 1964. After studies at Oxford and Paris, he worked first as a university chaplainin London and then spent 18 years teaching theology at Oxford. He served as Master of the Order from 1992 –2001, and has continued ever since to inspire in lectures and sermons throughout the world.
