The five mysteries of the Rosary added by Saint John Paul II – Baptism; Cana; Kingdom; Transfiguration; Supper – help the believer who prays them, to contemplate more fully the One whom we encounter both as risen Lord and as being ‘like his brothers and sisters in every respect’ (Hebrews 2:17).
